Meet Jen

I’m Jen Davis, founder and photographer at PureLens Photography.

Based in Cape Town, I specialise in natural light family and wedding photography, creating relaxed, authentic images that reflect real connection and emotion.

My approach is calm and unobtrusive. I guide you gently where needed, but my focus is always on capturing natural moments as they unfold. Many clients tell me how comfortable and at ease they felt during their session — and that comfort shows in the photographs.

Originally from Scotland, I grew up in Johannesburg and later lived near the Kruger National Park, where I developed a deep appreciation for light, nature, and storytelling through imagery. These influences continue to shape my work today.

In addition to photography, I have a background in design and brand development, which brings a strong visual and storytelling foundation to every session.

PureLens was created to help families and couples preserve their most meaningful moments with care, artistry, and professionalism.

Cameron is PureLens’ trusted second photographer and assistant.

He plays an important role in supporting sessions and weddings, helping ensure everything runs smoothly and comfortably. His calm, friendly presence helps clients feel relaxed, allowing genuine moments to emerge naturally.

Having a second photographer also allows PureLens to capture multiple perspectives and important candid moments that might otherwise be missed.

Cameron has been part of PureLens since 2021 and brings both technical precision and a natural ability to connect with people.
